Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how EasyPusher (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at easypusher.com, our web application at app.easypusher.com, and related services (together, the “Services”).
1. Information we collect
Account and billing
When you create an account, we collect information you provide, such as name, email address, password (stored securely), organization details, and payment information processed by our payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
Website and product usage
We may collect log data, device and browser type, IP address, and pages viewed. On easypusher.com we may use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) subject to those providers’ policies.
WordPress plugin: data stored on your site
When you use the EasyPusher WordPress plugin, push subscription data (including the information the browser supplies for Web Push, such as subscription endpoints and related keys) and subscriber records used to target notifications are stored in your WordPress database on your hosting. Campaigns you send from the EasyPusher dashboard are delivered using those locally stored endpoints.
Data your WordPress site sends to app.easypusher.com
The plugin requires our hosted application at app.easypusher.com to operate (for example, VAPID key provisioning and sending infrastructure). The following matches the External Service: EasyPusher disclosure in the plugin’s readme.txt for WordPress.org:
- API key verification — On activation, your API key and site domain are sent to authenticate the site and retrieve the VAPID key pair required by the Web Push protocol.
- Subscriber statistics sync — On a schedule (typically hourly via WordPress cron), aggregate subscriber counts, browser distribution, and anonymized country-level statistics are sent. Individual push endpoints and personal subscriber data are not transmitted as part of this sync.
- Campaign delivery — When you send a campaign from the dashboard, our service delivers push payloads to subscription endpoints stored in your WordPress database, using the plugin’s REST API and related mechanisms.
- Plan status — The plugin periodically checks the service for your current plan and usage limits.
If the plugin is distributed via the WordPress Plugin Directory, the same categories of data and purposes are summarized there; this policy is the authoritative privacy description for the EasyPusher service.
